When a house in our favorite Oakland neighborhood appeared in the Sunday newspaper we drove by to take a look and were instantly charmed by the property. I called Rick to set up a time to see the house, and he immediately scheduled an appointment with the house's Realtor. We loved the home and right away, the purchasing process began.

We were first time homebuyers, bidding in a popular Oakland neighborhood, and so we naturally expected a stressful, sleepless ordeal. With Rick and Ernie, the purchasing process was easy. Ernie guided us through each step of the paperwork and helped us tailor an offer along with a personal letter for the seller, which placed our bid above ten other offers.

Shortly after we purchased the house, we became first-time parents. We now we have a beautiful home to live in and enjoy with our new baby!
